چکیده
Environmental pollution has become a serious concern in the world that pollution of water resources with toxic heavy metals is a matter of great concern. In this study the ability of noval marine actinomycetes to remove Cadmium ion from coastal waters of Caspian Sea by biosorption was investigated. The experiments were carried out by batch method at 72 ◦C and influence of solution pH and initial cadmium ion concentrations were evaluated. Cadmium analysis was performed using flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The maximum adsorption of Cd (II) ion on Streptomyces biomass was observed at pH 2.0. Based on molecular characterization the isolates were identified as a novel Streptomyces sp. BARGHI7, BARGHI1 , SADATI1 and SADATI7 . The 11S rRNA sequence of the Streptomyces sp. isolates were deposited in GenBank with accession number of JQ774222, JQ774221, JQ002401 and JQ002407, respectively. Under the optimal conditions, the maximum biosorption capacity of Cd (II) ion was 12.46 by Streptomyces sp. BARGHI1
